Denis Kozlica is a composer and guitarist from Zagreb who started his musical career at the age of 12. Infatuated with the music of Jimi Hendrix and Joe Satriani, with private lessons and turning 15 the first public performances also began. Coming of age led to the founding of the first gang called Between, with whom he recorded 2 demo albums in 2 years.
After finishing high school education, in 2010 he applied for the entrance exam for contemporary guitar at AIM (Australian Institute of Music) and was accepted, but due to the impossibility of obtaining a student visa, he did not go to study. In 2012, with the idea of recording his first instrumental song, he meets producer Denis Mujadžić Denyken, with whom he later collaborates on the following projects: 2014 single “Sve do mora” – BOLAJI BADEJO, 2015 single “Try” – VANNA, 2016 single “Srce” – VANJA RADOVANOVIĆ, 2017 instrumental “Lost In Summer” – BOLAJI BADEJO.
In 2021, he releases his first independent, instrumental album “Pure & Simple” under the umbrella of Nota Bene Records, with international collaboration on the song “Waves Whisper”, in the interpretation of the world-famous guitarist Antonio Forcione.
In 2022, he won the Status HGU award for instrumentalist of the year in the category of fun, pop rock, and urban music.
In 2023, he participates as the author of the music in the documentary film Why Do I Hike 2: Hardships of a Thru Hike, which premiered on February 10, 2023. in the Forum cinema in Zagreb.
